Is This You?
Is this you? About my Clients
My clients are hard-working women who love to spend their free time training and racing in all kinds of different sports.
My clients understand the mantra, “work hard play hard.” However, they have lived this way for too long and have pushed themselves to the brink and their lives are just not working anymore. Either their jobs no longer feel fulfilling or they treat themselves like an enemy, and it’s time to find a new way of being.
I help sporty women feel good about their accomplishments, prioritize self-care, find balance and define a successful life on their own terms. Typically my clients hold themselves to a high standard and push themselves incredibly hard. However, a major drawback is that they are always ‘on’ and they feel tired and worn out.
Does that sound familiar to you? Do you connect with any of the following scenarios?
You have a career that you have worked hard at and you have produced great results. Even though you have had success you don’t really feel satisfied or fulfilled. You live for your sport but always feel under time pressure. It’s time for a change and you are ready to reconnect with what is really important to you and how you want to spend your life.
Your job is demanding, and you prioritize being an athlete. Even though you like both of these aspects of your life, you need balance. You are bold and strong and successful but you are struggling to allow yourself a break and recovery time.
You need goals you connect with and that really are YOUR goals. For you, taking part in a sport is about staying healthy and it’s also about connecting with people. However, you notice that you compare yourself to others and increasingly feel dissatisfied with what you are getting from the experience.
Secretly you want to spend more time doing the things you love but you feel guilty about prioritizing your personal choices over work or family. You are afraid that people at work will judge you and it may hurt your career. You hope that no one at work will notice your muscles and you continue to hide how you spend your time.
You like new challenges and you go after what you want with energy and enthusiasm. Succeeding at what you take on is expected, but when you don’t see results quickly enough, you get down on yourself.
You want to be top of your game. You have had a lot of success in all areas of your life. But lately you are not getting the results you want. Aside from pushing yourself harder (which is practically impossible) you wonder if there is another way.
Who is most likely to succeed working with me?
I’ve learned that there are certain traits that my ideal clients possess…
You want to make changes, not bitch about your current circumstances.
You understand that you only have control over yourself, not anybody else.
You are committed to making choices that reflect what is important to you, not based on what other people think or expect of you.
You are willing to ask yourself hard questions and dig deep for answers.
You are self-reflective and ready to take what you find with a little laughter and humility.
You will make time to get to know yourself at a whole new level.
