This three-day workshop is for intermediate downwind paddlers who want to improve their OC1 downwinding and surfing in Hawaii conditions. It is designed for women who have been on downwind runs on the mainland, such as the Gorge, or in smaller waves in Hawaii. They can catch and surf waves but aren’t as experienced in Hawaii conditions.
This offering covers the same skills as the two-day Downwind Primer workshops, with an additional first day to help participants adapt and learn more about Hawaii-size bumps and waves.
