LIFE COACHING

Do you find yourself yearning for change, and wondering how to make it happen? Do you wonder if you are on the right path and wish you were doing something more satisfying, rewarding, and impactful with your life? Do you find yourself being hard on yourself for feeling stuck while still doing all the things you are supposed to do?

I can help. Life coaching helps people who want to find their focus and the ability to go in a new direction. It’s for anyone who would benefit from self-discovery and self-reflection, support, and accountability to set new goals and make a change.

Work with me to:

  • Figure out what you want to be doing and how to get there.
  • Be pushed to deepen and test your perspectives.
  • Change the stories you have been telling yourself about why things aren’t happening.
  • Be kind to yourself while you navigate change
  • Rediscover things that you have forgotten are important to you.
  • Make adjustments that leave you feeling better about how you are living your life, intentionally.

A life coach is like a personal trainer, a sports coach or a physical therapist – they are committed to showing up to be by your side as you challenge yourself to grow and make changes.

We will work together to define what you want and understand your motivation, which energizes change.

We will design your goals together, and help you achieve them with support and accountability to stay focused and figure out how to overcome what gets in your way.

A coaching relationship typically lasts 3 months to a year, with bi-weekly one-hour video coaching sessions, and exercises to complete in between.

WHAT MAKES ME UNIQUE

My Life Coaching approach combines my experience as a professional coach and facilitator with Leadership that Works [link] with my background in athletic training, performance and holistic nutrition, as well as my focus on women in sports, social justice, and power dynamics to support women in their own specific life contexts.

Having lived as an expat and worked in a fast paced, demanding international career while being an athlete, I know what it’s like to be running on stress hormones, to need to perform, and not have time to be vulnerable and listen deeply to yourself.

I work in a systems-oriented way that takes into account physical and mental well-being and key relationships in your life as I help you understand your needs and values and make new choices. I challenge the internal and external system and the beliefs we hold (sometimes unknowingly) about the roles women play in our families and workplaces and society.

I apply principles of sport, being tuned into our bodies and staying focused on how to adopt and embed specific practices in your own life to make the changes you are seeking.

WHO DO I WORK WITH?

Having lived and worked overseas for over 10 years and spending a lot of time in the paddling community I primarily coach women who are paddlers and/or expats.

The women I work with are business owners, lawyers, software developers, personal trainers, wealth managers, teachers, public servants, event planners, logistics managers, directors of NGOs, CFOs, CEOs, partners and parents.

I have helped many women significantly increase their understanding of what motivates them and become happier and more able to enjoy their work, sports, and personal lives. I myself benefited from coaching in my own career transition, and as I built my own business and I have been working with women just like you and me since 2013.

I encourage you to take the step of setting up a call with me to find out more about how coaching can work for you. Whether or not you decide to work with me, this call is complementary and you will walk away with new insight into your life right now.

I still have the beginning of that first session imprinted in my memory. I believe it further established my trust in you and the journey I was beginning to take.

The values exercise was a big penny dropping moment for me and  made me understand why I felt off balance. Anna kept me going back to my values, and training me to identify which of my values were out of alignment.

I was at a point where I was looking for something different in my life and I wanted more freedom. Anna helped me deconstruct my life and now I’ve established a new routine and it’s really exciting to me.
